We believe that stories which touch and change people’s lives are stories which are viewed through the lenses of the affected.
The film training program incubates ideas. We run short courses and also long courses throughout the year.
Using film and media as a tool, we are involved in the fight against gender-based violence and the financial exclusion of women.
We train young girls and women in film and photography. We also train organisations on how to document and archive their activities. We work with urban and rural communities.
There are a lot of untold stories by women from a woman’s perspective. Our goal is to document these stories.
Zimbabwe still has a lot of policy gaps with which women are dropped from, as Ibhayisikopo Film Project we are advocating for policy reforms so that women can also benefit from national programmes.
